DEAR READER

Dear reader,
I don’t know what your pain is today
I don’t know how exactly the odds are
I just want you to know that you are in the plans of God
His thoughts towards you today is love,
Crazy love, embedded in eternal purpose
No matter how steep or crooked life road may look like
The valley may seem too dark and obscure, to navigate through
A valley of shadow of death!
A valley filled with ferocious beasts
Beasts that steals courage from your pilgrim soul
Fear no evil, for the Lord is with you

Dear reader,
Are you weary, worn out and burnt out?
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:

Dear reader,
Maybe you are struggling with an incurable disease
Debt, depression, discouragement or some dark secret,
All things shall work together for your good
There is hope, only believe
There is abundance of help for you, stretch and receive it
Don’t throw in the towel, keep on moving forward

Dear reader,
Probably nobody understands you at this moment.
You have been blackmailed, betrayed and  rejected
Rejected for something you didn’t do or did
Your self-worth and integrity has been muddied
Shame is written on the walls of your heart like graffiti on a city street
Receive forgiveness from where you messed up
Stand tall, tuck your feet on the ground, square up your shoulders
Don’t take matters into your own hands, for being treated wrongfully
The battle is the Lords; He will fight for you and restore you

Let the presence of Jesus wash over your soul, as you watch and
listen to this short but inspired music, by Hillsong (Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus)

Don’t be afraid. Take courage. I am here!  (Mathew 14:27 NLT)

25 NEGLECTFUL LIFE LESSONS

Being successful in life, should not be limited to money and wealth creation, whiles  organic relationships are trampled upon, on the side-walk of life. In my estimation, quality relationships (With God and Man) should be the top priority of human pursuit. We must face each day of our existence on this side of life, with a  great quest to connect with a personal God, and a gracious heart towards the human race. We are all much designed, connecting the dots of purpose and influence, in every sphere of life…God, Me, You, and all others, are the playing body. We must play according to the standards of God; His graceful opinion towards men. Go out there today, show forth your the virtues of God – Letting our light shine before men is our Christian duty, and it should not be neglected.

1. Your love must be real.
2. Hate what is evil
3. Hold on to what is good.
4. Love each other like brothers and sisters.
5. Give each other more honor than you want for yourselves.
6. Do not be lazy but work hard, serving the Lord with all your heart.
7. Be joyful because you have hope.
8. Be patient (Don’t quit) when trouble comes
9. Pray at all times.
10. Share with God’s people who need help.
11. Bring strangers in need into your homes.
12. Wish good for those who harm you; wish them well and do not curse
13. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy
14. Share tears with friends who are down
15. Live in peace with each other.
16. Do not be proud (the great somebody)
17. Make friends with (nobodies) those who seem unimportant.
18. Do not think how smart you are…
19. If someone does wrong to you, Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone.
20. Do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes
21. Do your best to live in peace with everyone.
22. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.
23. If you see your hater being thirsty, get him a drink
24. If you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch
25. Leave God, to do the judging; “He’ll take care of things”

THE HARRRD ROAD OF A WASTEFUL LIFE AND THE GOD WHO CARES

Deep down, there is a still small voice, persuading you to believe that your life is meant to be something more. You begin to wonder, reflecting on wherimagesCA1G7JI5e you are, at this moment in life (the regret, pain, hurt, sin, addiction, fear, miss opportunities and lack of interest in things that have eternal value);

“Is this all there is for me in this life or there is something bigger and loftier, than my mind can conceive”?

The persuasions of God in your heart, is the driving force that brings one to a place of importance and action, if one learns to yield his life to this higher purpose; not succumbing to the pressure of the culture, built on illusions. John Piper in his book Don’t Waste Your Life, gives a clarion call to a generation who only live for themselves, because of our indulgence in some totally absurd philosophical ideas and concepts which has neither root nor basis in the word of God. He has this to say; “It’s easy to slip through life without taking any risks-without making your life count. But life ought not to be wasted. You don’t need to know a lot of things to make a lasting difference in the world, but you do have to know the few, great, unchanging, and glorious things that matter and be willing to live and to die for them”.

Don’t live your life solely obsessed with the illusions of the American Dream; you’ve been wired for something bigger, beautiful, magnificent, and loftier than the American Dream. Jesus is the model of one’s existence. We discover His purpose through His agonizing prayers, at Gethsemane. He prayed to His father; “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour”. (John 12:27 NKJV) He lived a fulfilled life, to the Father’s joy – the cross was the symbol of His finished work, to bring man back to God in an organic relationship.

THE MEANING OF LIFE is a philosophical question concerning the significance of life or existence in general. It can also be expressed in different forms, such as “Why are we here?”, “What is life all about?”, and “What is the purpose of existence?” It has been the subject of much philosophical, scientific, and theological speculation throughout history. There have been a large number of proposed answers to these questions from many cultural and ideological backgrounds. Author Timothy Tang, in his book Real Answers to The Meaning of Life and Finding Happiness, tries to answer these questions by saying; “Life or human existence has no real meaning or purpose because human existence occurred out of a random chance in nature, and anything that exists by chance has no intended purpose”

It is totally absurd to say that human existence occurred out of a random chance in nature, and anything that exists by chance has no intended purpose. This and other false misrepresentation of our identity has swayed the masses, swimming in the sea of selfishness and emptiness. Friend, you are not an accident neither are you here by chance… you are not just a face in a crowd. You were created and wired by a Creative God, (See Genesis 1:26, 1390729_476297235817345_1573454466_nJeremiah 1:1-5) with a unique identity, to fulfill God’s heartbeat on earth, through relationship with Jesus Christ.

In the Westminster Shorter Catechism, the first question is: “What is the chief end of Man?”, that is, “What is Man’s main purpose?” The answer is: “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and enjoy him forever”. God requires one to embrace the gift of eternal life: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3 NIV)  This is the essence of our life -“to know God”

EPIC AWAKENING… You are not a random piece in an unplanned earth – you are a piece of the master. He has His signature scribbled on your total makeup, just as an artist code’s his painting with his signature, to raise its value. Don’t quit, don’t give up to the false misconceptions of your identity, and what is in stored for your life, on this side of the cross. The Godly purpose for your life is not discovered within a day… your rich relationship with Jesus Christ, will cause an epic awakening in your heart to unlock an activity of God, you can live and die for. Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Sampson, David and the entire saints who lived in the Biblical times were all ordinary men who were found by God, and received the breath of His activity, at a set period of their ordinary life. They were transformed by a purpose greater than their ordinary life. God has not ceased or frozen in His activity towards humanity… Jesus set the mark straight, to the Pharisees who opposed Him, when He healed a paralytic man on the Sabbath. The healing of the Paralytic man revealed the work of God, discovered and executed by the Son- In his defense, Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” (John 5:17 NIV)

Don’t believe in the lie of the enemy, and sit behind the fence, wasting away in a sinking, purposeless sand of life. Make the decision today, to anchor your life on things that have an eternal perspective and value. I believe that, God is persuading our stony hearts to surrender to Him, so we can capture what matters, within this prophetic season. Everything we have – wealth, riches, property, family etc. and all that we can do…blogging, singing, organizing, leading, cooking, giving, encouraging etc. on this side of eternity, must be tied up to a purpose greater and bigger than ourselves…We only enjoy the crumbs. (God’s crumbs are indescribable)

TREASURED CLAY BALLS… I read a story about a man who was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves, he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn’t look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of theimagesCACAMP15 cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it until he dropped one of the balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone. Excited the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels, in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he just threw it away. (Retrieved http://www.inspirationpeak.com)

You can surely have 99 reasons to live in regret at this very moment, and let every ounce of hope in your heart fizzle into the thin air, and live the rest of your life despairing about how unfair life has been to you. The opportunities you couldn’t cease or the things you could have done better, had the right people sailed with you through the high seas of life, with its unpredictable waves. A heart full of hurt and unanswerable questions will keep one stuck in the prison of the past; blaming yourself and others, instead of looking ahead to discover something bigger and greater than life. Life doesn’t owe us a thing, nobody owe us an apology. You should lift your eyes beyond life predicaments, and look unto Jesus Christ, who has become all that we can become in God. Don’t reject the wooing of the Spirit. Be happy and thankful to God, to be here today, even in your mess; cast it all on God. Surely, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

THOUGHTS TO CHEW ON… Friend, prayerfully chew on these simple yet profound questions and thoughts below, in the presence of God as you find meaning or photo credit: www.blessedtobeawitness.blogspotactivate your purpose in life…
We lived to be loved – Are you embracing God’s love for you?
We live for missions – Are you sharing the love of God with unbelievers?
We live to worship – Worship is not music; music is a medium for a relationship of love with God!
I live to… – What is the essence of your life, today?

Congratulations! You have found and captured God’s heart and how He feels towards you. Thank you for taking the time to journey with me in finding purpose. Your comments, likes, feedback, sharing, etc.  is the lubricant for  greater acceleration of the gospel, through gravity of grace. You are in my prayers! Love and peace to you!! –  McDaniels Gyamfi

What if I miss God

This question was posed to me in an email recently. And since that email three weeks ago, I have received six more just like it, asking about how we can know God’s will for our lives.

Of all the things people ask me, questions around knowing God’s will, doing God’s will or being in God’s will top the list. This question is related all kinds of things: choosing a college, selecting a job, marrying a spouse, pursuing a career, moving to a new place. The list goes on.

While questions about God’s will are good, and should be asked, there may be a better way of asking. Often, our questions about God’s will are rooted in two things.

First is our desire for a secure future. We believe if we are in God’s will, then our life ahead promises rather smooth sailing. Second, we hope to please God. We believe if we are in God’s will, He will be pleased with us and we can avoid any unnecessary punishment.

Viewing God and His will like this is little more than fatalism. Just knowing God’s plan for us seems impossible, but we hope we can find it someway, somehow. We convince ourselves God has a determined plan for us, and it is far beyond our ability to control.

WHAT DO WE SAY TO SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES THEY ARE IN GOD’S WILL AND EVERYTHING FALLS APART?

This belief suggests God is a deterministic deity who has planned out every single step we are supposed to take, the order in which we are to take them and the time we are to take them. Many of us have spent countless hours praying about and seeking out these steps. Deep inside, we worry about choosing what is not God’s will; believing if we miss it God will be upset with us.
This way of thinking breaks down quickly. Because there are times when things don’t go according to plan, and moments when horrible circumstances rise against us. What happens then? What do we say to someone who believes they are in God’s will and everything falls apart? In times like these, we are left with few options.

One option is to blame ourselves, believing we are out of God’s will. As hard as we tried, we did not follow His plan for us. As a result, God is lashing out to get us back in line. This makes God into nothing more than a punitive deity.

Another option is to blame God, believing He has willed pain and suffering. We followed what we believed to be God’s will, and now have to come to grips with why He caused pain and suffering. This makes God into nothing more than a twisted deity.
One of my good friends wrestled between these two options for years after his divorce. He and his wife met just after college. They quickly began dating, their relationship got serious and one night he told her of his intent to marry her. He told several of us he believed it was God’s will he marry her. Within two years of meeting they were married. Within four years of getting married they were divorced.

When he told me the news, it was heartbreaking. He told me how hellish the last year of their marriage had been, and he said, “I don’t understand, I really believed it was God’s will.” He struggled, on the one hand, asking, “How I could be so sure this was God’s will when it clearly wasn’t?” This led to shame, self-doubt and guilt. On the other hand, he asked, “If it was God’s will, how could God allow this?” This led to anger and resentment toward God.

And my friend is not alone in feeling this way. How many of us have made a decision believing it to be God’s will, only to have the wheels come off sometime down the road? This struggle suggests God is not very good at showing us His will, but He is really good at punishing us so we know what His will is not.

Thankfully, there is a third option.

God’s will, or what God wants, is the reconciliation of all things on earth or and in heaven. God’s will, what God desires, is that all men and women would be saved, and that none would suffer. God’s deep desire is the redemption, renewal and restoration of all things. He wants this so badly that Jesus shed his blood and gave his life so that He could restore peace and wholeness to our broken world. The biblical writers call this good news.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO GROPE ABOUT BLINDLY IN PRAYER HOPING WE HIT SOME COSMIC BULLS EYE CALLED GOD’S WILL.

The amazing thing is not only does God want this, but he invites us to join with Him in His work in this world. Simply put: God’s will for us is that we join with Him in His redemptive work in this world. Which reframes our question about knowing and doing God’s will.
Knowing, doing and being in God’s will begins with looking at our lives and asking, “Are there places where we see ourselves joining with God in his redemptive work in this world?” We can ask this question in the many important decisions that face us in life—whether that be colleges, jobs, spouses, relocating or careers.

We do not have to grope about blindly in prayer hoping we hit some cosmic bullseye called God’s will. We are freed to ask, “Will this decision allow me to participate more fully in God’s redemptive work in this world?” This lends tremendous freedom when it comes to making choices and doing God’s will.

God has not made His will hard to know. His will is the renewal of all things. What’s really difficult is choosing to participate in God’s will, and spend our lives joining God in His redemptive work in this world of ours that so desperately needs it.

PURPOSE DISPONDENCY AND WOES

PURPOSE DISPONDENCY AND WOES

There is a seated unhappiness in the hearts of many believers, who are trying so hard to discover God’s “master plan” for their life. Many are not sure today if where they’ve lived for years are the right location for them or whom they are partners with in business or marriage are the right people to lead them to that bliss called master plan, after many years on the path to purpose.

There are others who also think, they’ve missed God’s master plan, and there is no hope for tomorrow for their life. Isn’t it sad to live your life searching for a master plan outside of Him when you are a master plan of God in Him.

Romans 8:28-29 (NET)
28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, 29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

My dear friend, you are chosen by God by faith through grace into a great purpose, to conform to the very image of God and through this union or relationship… you can access the acceptable and perfect will of the Father through the agency of the Spirit. There is no greater purpose than this!

Stop searching for a master plan, my good friend!! You are God’s master plan; live each day yielding to the exertions of His holy influence on your soul, emotions and will as you do what you are passionate about in life through this influence (grace) on your heart. Yielding your thought to God in the tiny decisions of life, allows Him to emanate through us as a conduit for greater works. Many are like sitting beside a pool waiting for the huge bubble on the waters of their life with a trumpet sound echoing their name for arrival to that bliss. This behavior of waiting for a “breakthrough” leads to despondency in your heart. Each day must be embraced as a life of purpose in the things that glorifies Him in our lives as we lay on the altar of total surrender. This is awesome!!

Romans 12:2 (NET)
Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may test and approve what is the will of God—what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

God’s plan and purpose are His thoughts, plugged in by the believer. He wants you well, healed, prospered, anointed, favored, righteous, wise, creative, win souls, live cheerfully, intelligent, good relationships as wrought in the finished work of Christ. You are not ahead neither are you late in God’s program. All Things shall work together for your good. All things mean everything. It does not really matter where you are now or the degree you have failed. Failure is the language of the unregenerate. We win, no matter what…because Christ is winning daily through us.
