Lucifer asked me for a hug.
Characteristic of him,
he kissed me; crawling into
this fragile heart – a rubble
home he made for himself,
and his his many cohorts.
Alas, i sit under the sway
of the puppet master, singing

THE SEARCH (POETICAL ECHOES) – Depravity hold the mind of the mortal in darkness. Like Christopher Columbus, we set a path for out feet; Looking, asking, and searching for the truth that will set us free. At long last, her dusty, sinful feet has found a home; to bathe the mind. Wash me thoroughly, make me whole; the living waters of His Christ. Questions looms in her mind, as she has been taught to believe; “Not all things can be handled by the creator” “Every pain and trouble are there to punish us and teach us some lessons”. She had hoped the messiah is very willing to set her free from this addiction. She gathered the courage, asked the preacher man; ” is God willing to set me free?” She listens quietly… these words ; “Sometimes, He put burdens on us to train our spirit.” So God gives and take away?

GRACE STOOP LOW – Grace means, a loving God stoop low to the unclean zone of the sinful, the sick, and the ostracized; lavishing them with His goodness. The willingness of God for the healing of our souls is very paramount to the work of the cross. Millions of believers have been wrongly educated that, it’s the will of their Father in heaven for them to be broken in pieces through life challenges, so that He might get the glory. Your pain does not give God glory – He dwelt in the beauty of His glory. And He has called us to share in His glory. Alleluia

Mathew gospels paints a better picture of the heart of your Father, through the healing of a leprous man. Remember, anytime you read the words of Christ in the Bible, you are encountering the very heart of your Father in heaven. Why? Listen to Jesus; “John 5:19-20 “19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20“For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.

THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH – The heart of Jesus is the heart of the father. What he saw, heard, in the higher consciousness of being, whiles on earth, is the revelation of the graciousness of God. To continue from where we left on the healing of the leprous man, let scripture do its own work. Scripture records that:

Matthew 8:1-3 New English Translation (NET Bible) After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him. And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.” He stretched out his hand and touched him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Had Jesus replied to him, “aaaah I am not willing at this time, because your physical condition is surely promoting the kingdom of God, so hold it for five more years and lets see what God will do.” That would have been an insane answer from a man who was full of grace and truth, to set humanity free from the clutches of the wicked. What are dealing with in your personal life? Do you feel your condition has not improved because you haven’t been good enough or you are on God’s hit list? Here is the good news that should set you free once and for all. Jesus said to the Leprous man; “I am willing.” Oh, glory to God for His manifold blessing – He is willing ( that assurance that God is willing is the hope that will sustain you through difficult times)

THIS TOO SHALL PASS – Does not all things work for our good? Surely all things work for our good. Are you not talking about Romans 8:28? Truly, one of my favorite verse of scripture. Romans 8:28 New English Translation (NET Bible) 28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,

Because you are chosen, through the finish work of Christ; all things in this life, which was sent to destroy us by the devil will surely work for our good. Friend, God does not work for the devil – sometimes we get caught up in the notion that, the troubles of life gifts, sent to us through the hands of Angels. No, no, no, my good friend. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give us an abundant life (Read John 10:10) – a life which can only be derived through our relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

This is the beauty of scripture – everything that happens to you in this life; whether it’s by your own irresponsibility, satanic, or human orchestrations, you can hold on to the willing heart of the Father to save thy soul from the dark dungeon of the wicked. I don’t know how to give up in life. It’s not a matter of how disciplined i am – it’s all about my persuasion of the loveliness of the father to always touch my hands and whisper to me; “Son, I am willing” “Come out of this hopelessness, into my graceful embrace.” The fallen word does its worse, then God make all things work for our good.

FEED ON LOVE – I urge you today to believe in the everlasting arms of your Father in heaven. He cares about you and its willing to give you a fresh start, if you have falling from the peak of the mountain, to the bottom. Receive love, and thank Him for his willingness to see you through the dark seasons of life.

Scripture record that Jesus was seriously accused by the Pharisees and the teachers of the law for being friendly with sinners. To them, it was a taboo for the one who claims to be the holy Son of a Holy God, to eat and hang out with the unclean of society. Jesus had a mission… He did not come to the world for the healthy and the pious. He came to seek and save the lost. Mark 2:16-17  (NLT) 16 But when the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees[a] saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?[b]” 17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

She really didn’t know how she got into the chapel

She has made a vow; never to attend this kind of club

No, she wasn’t afraid of God; was skeptical of the holy folks

Like a sheep to the slaughter;

quietly, she sat there watching and waiting

The sermon didn’t paint her pain to the club;

it painted the loveliness of a God who saves

For the first time in her life, she found God to be appealing

He looked into her eyes and saw the emptiness in her soul

She is mesmerized by a God who can only fill her empty heart

Out of her brokenness, she surrendered to the Lover of her soul

I sat face to face with her [I will call her Brooklyn], on  this beautiful first Sunday of the year 2012, in my office. My heart was full of love towards Brooklyn, without any form of condemnation. I Was so thankful to God for the opportunity to declare His love to the reproached of society. I knew I was the answer and solution to Brooklyn’s unsecured life, not because I was smart enough for the occasion. T’was the unmerited grace of Christ. Had Brooklyn met me two years earlier, I would have recommend professional counseling, as the antidote for her pain.

Most Church leaders consider the lesbian and the gay community as a no go zone. We are so sensitive, thinking we might offend people if we dive into their ocean, for a rescue mission. This sense of attitude within the body of Christ, has created a great gulf between the saint and the sinner.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. Our stereotypical attitude towards certain group of people has rendered us powerless and ineffective, in changing lives.

We condemned and judge, sitting on the fence with pious faces. We are called to save the lost! Thank God, I had then had a personal encounter with Christ Jesus and His great love towards the bad and the ugly. An encounter  which radically affected the way I see people. I always look at people from the lens of Gods love, which surpass human understanding, irrespective of the gravity of their evil behavior. I knew then that God was not angry with Brooklyn, as she sat there with zero peace in her life, through the journey to the unknown.  Life was so sour in her mouth; the riches of Jesus heals and restores a dysfunctional life to a life of purpose and meaning.

For almost like twenty minutes, I shared with Brooklyn the sweetest love of Christ Jesus. Her outer disposition was very overwhelming …she injects a thug life fear into your soul, as she looks into your eyes, without a blink. Like a baby, she was enchanted by the saving power of Christ, and melted into the arms of the one who has power to forgive and transform. Suddenly, she burst into tears, asking Jesus to flood her soul with forgiveness and crown her mind with peace. She was empty, wretched and lonely. To make a long story short, Brooklyn was instantly saved from twenty-five years of bondage with the opposite sex, she called wife.

She later told me that she  and her many friends had this form of mindset against the Church of God. They see the Church of Jesus to be unappealing and unreceptive to the gay community. January 2014 was exactly two years of her transformed destiny. Hallelujah, Jesus saves! On last Sunday, May 18, 2014, a now transformed Brooklyn, led our church choir in a most fantastic, inspiring, song ministration to the glory of Christ. Isn’t it beautiful; how our God will just pick the rejected and the reproached and set them on the rock, to glorify His own name.

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears.[aHe will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT)

Friend, here we are; standing on the mountain top of grace

In the deepest valleys of life; the fields are white for a harvest

How beautiful are the feet of them who brings glad tidings

Turn your condemnation tools into pruning hooks of love

Why wasting precious time, debating with the government

We [Church] are the solution center to a bleeding world

We not afraid to be called friends of sinners for heaven sake

Do you believe?
Do you believe?

Pious faces everywhere
Calm hearts everywhere
Lighted hands up yonder to worship
Holy lips to sing angels songs
Hugs and holy kisses are free
This place smells like heaven
Yes! This place is heaven on earth

Stain glass proof windows tightly closed
Boxed in our own world no one sees
Fragrance proof doors to keep it here

Sullen faces everywhere
Heavy hearts everywhere
Lips of clay our silence to each other
Wrapped in pain, hugs are costly
This place smells like hell !!

Concealed in her purse the fragrance of love
From the roof top, a Macedonia call to action
This place smells like God has bled to death
With tears he beckoned; pour it out everywhere!!

She is afraid to be different
She is comfortable blending in
She is afraid to show forth her hidden identity
Her traditional bells sounds louder than her calling
Her sacred cows are more important than a dying world
She is Boxed in a religion of monopolizing God

“The day we see the truth and cease to speak is the day
We begin to die” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Christmas is almost here. Many church planning committees are within schedule, planning to bring Jesus out of obscurity into the open. Detailed plans and effort are given for the grandeur display, of the Son of God. Many believers are in great anticipation for Jesus centered sermons, songs, concerts and shows, to ignite their emotions. Excitement is in the air, and we all can’t wait for the pomp and pageantry of the celebration of a life time.

I love Christmas
I love it to the Max
I love the lights and the red ribbons
I love the good will messagesjesus out
I love how we act nicely towards each other
I love the zeal and the enthusiasm of the preacher
The old story of Jesus birth is retold in new depths
I love to see Jesus at the center of it all
Thank God for Christmas…
He is given His place, in all areas of life
From the board room to the media house of America
He tops viewer ratings in all media house
Kids are going to see Prince Jesus again in a manger
I almost forgot the rush to the mall for sales
The rush to the post of office, for people we have ignored for centuries
What about the gifts and cards in the mail box

CHRISTIANITY IS CHRISTit is very simple, yet many of the followers of Christ miss it. The new created beings have received the very nature of God, to display His life in the open, everyday of their life. We cannot do anything worthwhile in this life, without his life flowing through us. What religion has done is, making Jesus a cult figure, which is brought in the open on certain occasions, to receive homage from its many followers and return back into hiding.

THE SILENCE AFTER NEW YEAR’S EVE. Like an old country musician, who has faded into obscurity; he hangs his old guitar at his old ranch, with no recognition and fame, but a flood tide of questions swept over his soul. He ask with tears flowing through his cheeks; Where is the love? Where is the applause? Where are all the ten thousand of fans who chanted my name in big arenas, and help him me soar like superman? I have asked myself these same questions on several occasions in regards to Christ and the church. On top of my list is “what went wrong with Jesus, imagesCATM3FL0 after Christmas? The light of the world, in complete obscurity is unbelievable.

Why do we love the festivities of Christianity with passion, and neglect the persuasions of God in our hearts, for intimate relationships? I have come to believe that if Christianity is redefine as Christ… ( centered on Christ); we will do greater works, and experience greater peace in our personal lives. I also believe  that God has been misrepresented to the Church; He is like Santa to most of us.Why do you say that, McDaniels?

Most believers (At Christmas) become Christ centered…with their unveiled faces beholding as in a mirror, the glory of how God gave Jesus to humanity, begins to reflect the same glory in their lives, through the power of the spirit. Paul talks about it this way; “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18(NIV)

Can you imagine how our lives will be transformed, if the altogether lovely Jesus, sits on the throne of our hearts, in all we do. (Everyday will be Christmas of sort)

1. Joy which is a reflection of the Character of Christ, would emanate out of  our lives effortlessly, as we stay in His presence daily
  •  You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalm 16:11 NIV)
2. The centrality of Christ in our life and that of the family, keeps us stable and secure at all times, just as you see a united front in all things, through Christmasshopping-bags-101122-02
  • I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8 (NIV)
3.The poor among us would be set free from the materialistic culture, which makes everything God, and the true God become a god. When God is your portion, you become content
  • I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” (Psalm 16:2 (NIV)
4. The Church will be empowered to share the goodness of God, which put smiles on people’s faces, without prejudice just as we love to smile to the next door neighbor, who is always on our last nerves at Christmas
  • When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them (Luke 2:17-18(NIV)
5. Unprecedented, hassle free miracles shall be seen in our midst as we rest in the finished work of Christ.
  •  So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? (Galatians 3:5 NIV)
6. The culture of prejudice and hostility shall die out in our Churches. The spirit of Christ always dominates the heart of believers in worship to the extent that, our A family which hinges on agapao love will always run through the fire together and come out unhurtracial lines are thrown into the trash. (Look at the smiles on the faces of Ushers and the protocol team…they welcome the poor and the nobodies with a heart full of love)
  •  They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. (Acts2:42-44 NIV)

A PRAYER TO PRAY…Father God, as we reflect on who Jesus is today, may we all through the help of the Spirit, be drawn to the awesome presence of Christ, in our hearts, as we receive supernatural empowerment for greater works and greater peace, only you can give.  Amen!

Tell me what you will do if a gay brother visits your local church this Sunday, comfortably sitting on the front row pew, going through the hymnal with a weave on, over his head; basking in pink makeup, in the most holy, sanctified, glorified place; highly electrified with passion for worship, by the saints? Will you change your sermon, Mr. Preacher? Will the choir be able to function, hitting the right notes at worship, will he be allowed to introduce himself, and will he affect the flow of service, and will the church hug him after the service?

PAUSE AND REFLECT! “Jesus encountered all kinds of people in His earthly ministry, either unplanned or on purpose. In those moments; face to face with the good, the bad, and the ugly, the result was always awesome and glorious. The joy of finding that which was lost, was always written like graffiti, on the walls of His heart and face”.

1-3 By this time a lot of men and women of doubtful reputation were hanging around Jesus, listening intently. The Pharisees and religion scholars were not pleased, not at all pleased. They growled, “He takes in sinners and eats meals with them, treating them like old friends.” Their grumbling triggered this story. 4-7 “Suppose one of you had a hundred sheep and lost one. Wouldn’t you leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the lost one until you found it? When found, you can be sure you would put it across your shoulders, rejoicing, and when you got home call in your friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Celebrate with me! I’ve found my lost sheep!’ Count on it—there’s more joy in heaven over one sinner’s rescued life than over ninety-nine good people in no need of rescue.( Luke 15:1-7 MSG)

WE ARE TO ACT SHREWDLY It is about time the Church acts shrewdly as serpents, crawling through tight spaces, to reach the unreached with the venom of the gospel of God’s grace. Complaining and grumbling to God, in our prayer revivals about the dip in morality within our culture, is not the solution. Jesus armed His disciplesimagesCAEXVQIE when He sends them to preach the gospel. He said; “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (Matt 10:16) Friend, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. We are the ambassadors of Christ; representing Him here on earth, as He works through us, reconciling the world to Himself. (See 2 Corinthians 5:18-20) Every moment of our life here on earth, should be lived with the readiness and the consciousness to delve into the heart of God, as we download wisdom and strategies to connect with people, with the sole aim of winning. No fisherman will see a cluster of porcupine fishes and wonder if it’s necessary to cast the net.

FREE FROM PHARISAIC SYNDROME…There is a spirit of Pharisaism holding the true identity and positive dynamics of the 21st century church from making greater impact in the world. Over the centuries, the work of ministry has suffered a great injustice, at the hands of those who claim to be the closest to God, as far as His redemptive plan, is concerned. In Jesus’ day, they were called Pharisees. They were Israel’s religious leaders who misrepresented God to the Jewish people and were also critical of those who fell short of their man centered traditions and beliefs, pass down from generation to generation. They portrayed God as a legalistic, rule-bound entity that required performance instead of mercy, regulations instead of grace.greece

The sad fact is that they even opposed God incarnated in the flesh as evil, for sharing meals with sinners and treating them as old friends. Those who follow them to the core, used their religious influence to make others stumble as they shoot them with the arrows of a holy passion, embedded in ignorance. Jesus loved the Pharisee as much as he loved the prostitute, yet they were a thorn to in His flesh. This Pharisee spirit in the 21st century church comes in different forms and shapes…there are those who are so over protective of a particular belief system of a denomination, they become blind to the lost sheep of God. Four walls of the sanctuary is their own small world; modifying themselves to the strict neglect of those who does not belong in that small family. It seems like it’s a church but in reality it’s a club…you can only share their God, if you pass your background check, with distinction.

We can be free from the prejudice and labels when we allow the Holy Spirit to redefine the true foundation dynamics of the Church of Jesus Christ. His Church was built on the revelation of His character…as Love. His love is the beauty displayed on the feet of those who bring the good news of His love to beautify the ugliest place of a man’s heart. (See Isaiah 52:7)

FACE TO FACE WITH A HARD CORE LESBIAN …I sit face to face with a hard-core lesbian, on the first Sunday of 2012 at my office. I wouldn’t have known what I would have done had she met me two years earlier. For sure, I would tell her to seek professional counseling. Thank God, I had met the loveliness of Christ Jesus in my heart a year earlier, which incredibly changed me 360 degree (I call my experience, born again, again into His love for me). For almost twenty minutes, everythingmovies_les_miserable_hugh_jackman_anne_hathaway_1 about her outer disposition, didn’t matter to me…I kept telling her of how much God love her, without any sense of condemnation. Suddenly, she burst into tears like a baby, crying to the Lord to flood her heart with forgiveness and crown her mind with the peace I have shared with her. She was empty, wretched and lonely. To make a long story short…Jesus did changed her life by delivering her from twenty-five years of bondage. She later told me, she had the mindset that the church was very judgmental and unreceptive, because of her many experiences with certain believers. January 2014 will be her two years of a transformed destiny. hallelujah, Jesus saves!

YOU ARE THE SOLUTION… The boat is rocking on the sea of despair, with no rescue plan, going against the boisterous current, and many look with unconcerned heart. Who is in that boat…probably a friend or coworkers, a daughter, a son, husband, an uncle, a nephew or a neighbor? My friend, gays and lesbians have been with us, before the church of Jesus Christ was established. There are a host of them in the arena of the church today, breathing just like me and you, hiding in the crowd, condemned and bruised in the soul. The whole system and culture has just been repackaged and rebrand in the 21st century, to attract more consumers. Those who are in this prison are empty, lost, disoriented but afraid and uncomfortable to seek rightasylum in the arms of genuine brothers and sisters, as a last resort for deliverance. They sadly soliloquy; “will I become a punching bag from the holy pulpit” “Will my past be visited, Sunday after Sunday, from the lips of holy saints.

The Church of Jesus Christ is the only solution for this epidemic. We cannot sing come just as you are because Christ will receive you just the way you are, and treat people like trash. This form of hypocrisy, concocted out of our emotional attachment to a form of religion and dogma, is contrary to the principles of scripture. This is exact attitude expressed by the Pharisees, until Jesus shook their world with a culture of grace. Open your arms and embrace; heal the world with a heart firm on stepping outside of man centered beliefs. Don’t we need a reality check, as people of Christ? The Church of Jesus Christ is living the borrowed life of Christ on this side of eternity, to do the impossible. We are hands and feet of Christ. It has nothing to do with a specialty in human anthropology. We have the divine nature, to rise to the occasion. All that God need from us is availability. Let go and let God!

NO HUMAN ORGANIZATION HAS THE KEYS TO UNLOCK ANCIENT DOORS…No, Government, expert or group have the solutions for the old age gay/lesbian cancer, which is eating the very fiber of society today. The Church should stop complaining; “We don’t want it here, “It’s against our culture”, “It’s a taboo” and so on and so forth. Jesus did not just hang out with sinners because He wanted to know what they think or what was buzzing within the community. He was very conscious improve-employee-loyalty-e1288646684210of the state of humanity…His plan was to stoop low to the undeserved, to intelligently touch them where they were ailing. Wherever He went, change was the result. Are we conscious of spiritual change, or we are preserving our holy dignity and man centered dogmas?

Government is like an Advil; temporary relieves fever and pain, but cannot uproot the heart of the ailment. They work through trial and error. The Church has absolute, ultimate reality solutions and answers, hidden in our born again spirit. It is unfortunate we sit at the corner of the room, expecting an organization or the government to legislate laws to curtail what we see as taboo. It baffles my mind sometimes, when I see ministers of the gospel, Bishops and spiritual leaders supporting legislation, to imprison or kill gay and lesbians, in certain parts of the world. Let us not forget that, condemnation keeps people in their shells, and kill them softly. Friend, I am not a gay activist; I am a staunch believer, in the ability of the Church of Jesus Christ. Through the power of Christ, we are able to transform the ostracized and the broken-hearted in society. We carry a message which has the potency to set people free.

CRAZY LOVE…What can change the isolated life is the crazy love of Christ Jesus, flowing through the hearts and hands of those who are ready for harvest. These Penguinsheart wrenching beings, will break the chains of impossibility, and fill empty souls with conviction which is stronger, and greater than lust and lost identity. Father God, help us to love just as Jesus loved Mary Magdalene, and those who were a disgrace in their own family, nation and community, with the sole purpose to transform them, into your image. Arise; remove the religious lid from the fragrance of love nature you share with Christ through union, and unlock the hidden treasures of wisdom, skill and knowledge, hidden in Christ Jesus as you seek His presence for an awakening to righteousness. This manifold grace surpasses the experience of the expert, and the intelligence of the unregenerate. Make a difference for the kingdom of Christ.
