WHAT ARE YOU HEARING

e14bfd323fd344_2f_9_76efb21b-postWhen you consider the gospel or the good news, its suppose to be good, right? The good news is not a bad news, showcasing all your mistakes and  how miserable your life is. Its about what Christ has done irrespective of our effort. Its the power of God unto salvation ( Safety, healing, forgiveness, well-being, peace and prosperity) For some reason, the gospel has become a mixture of more bad news and a little good news.

The gospel tells you this; “yes there is sickness in the world, there is pain, chaos and misfortunes, but you have already overcome the power of the wicked through Christ”. “You are no more looking at life from the window of trying hard to get healing or to walk out of pain. In Christ you are already healed through His stripes. This is the so good to be true news, that emphasize on what is already done on Christ Jesus.

Galatians 1:8 New Living Translation Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you

HURTS – There is a lot of hurt people in our world today. Millions of people in this fallen universe can’t raise their heads up from the storms of shame, pain, poverty, and all the bad report of the media.

“If the Church becomes the center of emphasizing on the hurt of men, instead of feeding the heart with the glad tidings that set men free, then we are doomed”

As a Christian and a believer of Jesus Christ, going to church should give me a certain sense of assurance, that my heart will be watered with the so good to be true news of Jesus Christ. The news that gladdens the heart and convert the soul, from grace to grace. To feel condemned, downcast, and miserable in the house of God, through the preaching Gods word means you are not hearing the gospel. The gospel paint a picture of your glorious position in the finished work of Christ. The gospel does not place a burden on your shoulders. Neither does the gospel evaluate you on the basis of your circumstances. You are evaluated on the basis of Sonship. A new creation in Christ Jesus. You are a child of the King – the old slave house is destroyed, and now you are anew in Him. ( See 2 Corinthians 5:15-17)

There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)

Sadly, our churches are filled with people who have become accustomed to being lambasted through the preaching of the Angry-baby-at-the-Givenchy-showword. Religion put people into prisons of fear and guilt, just to motivate men to chase God with desperation. We are not to serve God in desperation – like servants seeking an opportunity to meet the King. Serve God with an attitude of rest. God is nearer to you than a friend. And I don’t think we operate from desperation when we want to meet our best friend. He is a friend and also a lover, who breathes upon you with jealousy. His hands are always stretched to lavish you with goodness.

WHAT ARE YOU HEARING? –  Do you have the hope and the peace of Christ within your heart; in your walk with God? Do you feel restful or condemned? Are you tired of going to church? Friend, if church feels boring and scary for you, then you must be in a wrong place. There is nothing as beautiful like going into the house of God and having the confidence that the beloved has invited you to His banqueting table and His banner of love will be waving high through praises, worship and in the preaching of the word. In such an atmosphere, you are indulged in the fountain of uncommon grace, which flows from the rock, who is Jesus Christ. I entreat you to feed on the loveliness of Christ, and guard your heart from the other gospel which places burdens and yoke upon your heart. You are what you are hearing. Your persuasions of life are built on the foundation of what kind of words you have accepted as beliefs. Find a grace centered ministry, and drink from the cup of Jesus; reaching the full stature of who you are in Christ.

Thanks for reading.

IS GOD WILLING FOR GOOD?

THE SEARCH (POETICAL ECHOES) – Depravity hold the mind of the mortal in darkness. Like Christopher Columbus, we set a path for out feet; Looking, asking, and searching for the truth that will set us free. At long last, her dusty, sinful feet has found a home; to bathe the mind. Wash me thoroughly, make me whole; the living waters of His Christ. Questions looms in her mind, as she has been taught to believe; “Not all things can be handled by the creator” “Every pain and trouble are there to punish us and teach us some lessons”. She had hoped the messiah is very willing to set her free from this addiction. She gathered the courage, asked the preacher man; ” is God willing to set me free?” She listens quietly… these words ; “Sometimes, He put burdens on us to train our spirit.” So God gives and take away?

GRACE STOOP LOW – Grace means, a loving God stoop low to the unclean zone of the sinful, the sick, and the ostracized; lavishing them with His goodness. The willingness of God for the healing of our souls is very paramount to the work of the cross. Millions of believers have been wrongly educated that, it’s the will of their Father in heaven for them to be broken in pieces through life challenges, so that He might get the glory. Your pain does not give God glory – He dwelt in the beauty of His glory. And He has called us to share in His glory. Alleluia

Mathew gospels paints a better picture of the heart of your Father, through the healing of a leprous man. Remember, anytime you read the words of Christ in the Bible, you are encountering the very heart of your Father in heaven. Why? Listen to Jesus; “John 5:19-20 “19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20“For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.

THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH – The heart of Jesus is the heart of the father. What he saw, heard, in the higher consciousness of being, whiles on earth, is the revelation of the graciousness of God. To continue from where we left on the healing of the leprous man, let scripture do its own work. Scripture records that:

Matthew 8:1-3 New English Translation (NET Bible) After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him. And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.” He stretched out his hand and touched him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Had Jesus replied to him, “aaaah I am not willing at this time, because your physical condition is surely promoting the kingdom of God, so hold it for five more years and lets see what God will do.” That would have been an insane answer from a man who was full of grace and truth, to set humanity free from the clutches of the wicked. What are dealing with in your personal life? Do you feel your condition has not improved because you haven’t been good enough or you are on God’s hit list? Here is the good news that should set you free once and for all. Jesus said to the Leprous man; “I am willing.” Oh, glory to God for His manifold blessing – He is willing ( that assurance that God is willing is the hope that will sustain you through difficult times)

THIS TOO SHALL PASS – Does not all things work for our good? Surely all things work for our good. Are you not talking about Romans 8:28? Truly, one of my favorite verse of scripture. Romans 8:28 New English Translation (NET Bible) 28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,

Because you are chosen, through the finish work of Christ; all things in this life, which was sent to destroy us by the devil will surely work for our good. Friend, God does not work for the devil – sometimes we get caught up in the notion that, the troubles of life gifts, sent to us through the hands of Angels. No, no, no, my good friend. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give us an abundant life (Read John 10:10) – a life which can only be derived through our relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

This is the beauty of scripture – everything that happens to you in this life; whether it’s by your own irresponsibility, satanic, or human orchestrations, you can hold on to the willing heart of the Father to save thy soul from the dark dungeon of the wicked. I don’t know how to give up in life. It’s not a matter of how disciplined i am – it’s all about my persuasion of the loveliness of the father to always touch my hands and whisper to me; “Son, I am willing” “Come out of this hopelessness, into my graceful embrace.” The fallen word does its worse, then God make all things work for our good.

FEED ON LOVE – I urge you today to believe in the everlasting arms of your Father in heaven. He cares about you and its willing to give you a fresh start, if you have falling from the peak of the mountain, to the bottom. Receive love, and thank Him for his willingness to see you through the dark seasons of life.

THE CHURCH IS BIGGER THAN YOUR CHURCH

That’s right, the church of Jesus Christ is bigger and larger than your local church! To be solely committed to a local church or denomination and turn blind eye to the real church is a serious cancer in Christendom. To say it in another way; “we are passionately sold out to denominational units, with zero passion towards Christ Church”. Joel Osteen…You can be committed to Church but not committed to Christ, but you cannot be committed to Christ and not committed to church”

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)

Mark Deverm; The church is primarily a body of people who profess and give evidence that they have been saved by God’s grace alone, for His glory alone, through faith alone, in Christ Photo Credit: www.kristendukephotography.comalone. This is what a New Testament church is; it is not a building. The early Christians didn’t have buildings for almost 300 years after the church began. The collection of people committed to Christ in a local area constitutes a church”. For over a thousand years, the Church has suffered under the excruciating pain of dogmas, denominational-ism, self centeredness and the pettiness, which so much divides us. Until we drop our unholy whip which has left painful scars of bitterness, division, isolation, rejection, mediocrity, stagnation and the personal vendetta, on our backs, we cannot be healed of our chronic spiritual ailment.

In summer of 2013, we threw an invitation to the christian community and the public, in the spirit of faith and brotherhood, for our annual spirit life picnic, to come and enjoy variety of food, fellowship, fun, and to connect with the community, all for the joy of Christ. A woman from a different Church or denomination was invited through our Facebook page. I felt very shocked for her response on Facebook. She wrote; “Would love to but I got Church”. We are one body. It is very unfortunate, how many people misunderstand the concept of Church. They consider the Church to mean their denominational affiliations and buildings. Friend, you and I are the Church of Jesus Christ. Christ is delighted with our magnificent buildings, where His beloved children are fed with the truth. His greatest satisfaction is not our buildings and programs. His contentment is found in me and you.

Martin Luther….”The church is not wood and stones, but rather, the company of people who believe in Christ”.

We are called into one faith, and we must endeavor to maintain the bond of unity in the Spirit. Apostle Paul writes to the Church at Ephesus, and this is what he had to say;3 Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:3-6 KJV)

Photo Credit: Google imageThere is no difference between the church in Africa or China, neither is there any difference between the Church on A street or M street. We are called into one body and function from the supernatural grace of the same spirit. Our hope and faith is in one God and Father of all. Friend, He is in us all. The kind of Church scripture paints is a family of one. Glory!  The tide is shifting on us!  We are the Nehemiah Generation, called forth to repair broken walls and build bridges which will bring us closer to each other to fulfill the Master’s task, on the common ground as family of Christ and not denominational enemies. Let us throw our denominational schisms and pull staff and financial resources to help our struggling brethren, who only need a push in the back. When we understand the big picture of God’s heart towards His Church, we will see the local and the universal Church from a different platform than the one we have been standing on over the years.

I was on my way to the picnic grounds with my wife as I mentioned earlier. We received a phone call from one of my Church leaders, who informed me that an unknown Church had already set up for picnic on the shelter we have booked for almost four months, prior to the day. I was very calm even though we have publicized this particular shelter through so many medium; inviting friends from the community and those coming from out of State. I told my wife, this is not any issue to be worried about, since it’s a Church of Jesus Christ, we can probably join hands with them and have fun, as brothers and sisters in Christ. I kept driving with no worries about all the inconveniences this will create, until another call came which made it clear to me that the picnic coordinator made an awful mistake when she did the booking . When I got to the picnic grounds, the other Church was already grilling, around 10:30 am.

Charles Spurgeon …“A church that does not exist to reclaim heathenism, to fight evil, to destroy error, to put down falsehood, a church that does not exist to take the side of the poor, to denounce injustice and to hold up righteousness is a church that has no right to be. Not for yourself, O church, do you exist, any more than Christ existed for Himself”.

To make long story short, they were so willing for us to join them and have fun together as a family but the problem had already been solved by the facility managers of the park. This gestureGoogle image from this family (church) was exactly what Christ would have done if He was the Pastor of that Church. They had a proper perspective of what Church is. It’s not about your creed, color or race. It’s all about a family of God, with Jesus Christ as its first-born. The joys and elevation of other brethren should be your delight, whether you know them or not.

Seeking the well-being of other believers is a culture of Christ. Sharing the burdens of others and keeping them in prayer or using your resources to help them stand through the test of time should be our priority, without any strings attached. Most leaders of our time has created a form of cult religion around their denominations. Many, out of carnality have become like rappers, competing for the spot light. They will do anything in their own power to bring down any ministry or church they consider as threat to their empire. They are fighting for prime-time radio and TV spots with huge sums of money, all in the name of catapulting a denomination, and not a kingdom. As sad and chronic as it may look; God is raising a generation of believers who will raise up high the unity banner of Christ. High above denominational lines, color of the skin, race, culture, creed, economic status and nationality,  to accept one another and uphold the gospel of Jesus Christ with unquenchable passion. This is the new breed of believers! Will you join the army?

DOES LOVE LOOK LIKE ME?

God’s love for us; it’s the most powerful force known by man. Our love for others is the most complex thing in the body of Christ.

It is very common in christian circles to hear people brag about how zealous they are for God and deeply rooted they are in love with Him. Most believers think they get a complete grasp of Photo Credit: Google imagethe depths of love until you begin to questioned them; if their love for frozen yogurt is the same as their love for God, marriage partners, family and friends. There is a huge gap between ones love for yogurt and his love for friends. We easily mixed up agape love (the love nature of God) with conditional love (love based on conditions). My aim in this write-up is to unveil God’s nature of  love. More so, to find out if you are  radiating His love nature on this side of the cross. As new creatures in Christ, we have been transformed into the very nature of God through rebirth, to diffuse His love without measure in every place. We have become an excellent icons of God’s kind of love, on this side. Friend, let’s do a very simple exercise, which will literally change your life and that of those around you in a very profound way.

First Corinthian thirteen list almost fifteen (15) vital characteristics of God’s nature. As you read from one to fifteen on this list, you will see what love is and what love is not. Now, the question we all going to ask ourselves today is; “DOES LOVE LOOK LIKE ME?” Whenever I have asked some of m buddies this unique question, they either froze or begin to sweat from their face, down to the soles of their feet. I have had many scratched their head and ends up asking me the same question, without a clear answer. The Holy Spirit gives us a fine portrait of what love (God) is; (God is revealing His nature. As we see His nature; we also capture our identity in Him.) If God is love, then I believe that Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Church at Corinth, was not just giving the love requirements but rather painting a beautiful portrait of who God is.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV- 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; [a] 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away

Like I said before, this is a unique questionnaire or exercise to build your love muscles. All you have to do today is to grab your bible or read the anchor scripture slowly and prayerfully  wet your heart with the truth of scripture. As you meditate on God’s word, don’t condemn yourself on areas you fall short, but rather ask the Lord to continue to influence your thoughts and actions with Himself, to become the person He has intended for you to become; loving!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (ESV)

  1. Love is patient and
  2. Love is kind
  3. Love does not envyparental love
  4. Love does not boast
  5. Love is not arrogant
  6. Love is not rude.
  7. Love does not insist on its own way
  8. Love is not irritable or resentful
  9. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing
  10. Love rejoices with the truth.
  11. Love bears all things,
  12. Love believes all things
  13. Love hopes all things,
  14. Love endures all things.
  15. Love never ends.

LOVE IS A BEING – God is love, and out of His marvelous love for us through rebirth,  has infused Himself into us, so we can live through Him, by faith. This love must be first understood as a noun (a being) in our born again spirit before it can become a verb (diffusing, actions) influencing our daily lives. What I mean is this; you 1390729_476297235817345_1573454466_ncannot demonstrate the agape love out of your bankrupt flesh, until (God) who is love is unleashed through faith, to freely rule and reign through your human vessel which lacks the natural desire to love unconditionally. For instance, I had a very difficult situation with a sister who also loves God. Honestly, I was a complete wreck whenever we had an eye contact,  at Church. My heart and emotions were not ready to let some stuff go. I was right, she was wrong was the song playing in my ears and controlling my emotions. You know what I did? I prayed to the Lord, telling Him of my inability to love, my hurt, pain, resentments all the negative energy. I believe you know what I’m talking about, if you are not living in a lonely Island. I kept placing my trust in Christ to freely love the sister through me,without her having to change her attitude. It worked so perfectly as I confided in God for a breakthrough in my heart. The next thing I knew….I was sending text messages, phone conversation, then a visit to her family for a fantastic dinner. The devil has been defeated by the ability of Christ love, and not by my might or effort.

1 John 4:7-10 (NET) 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God. 8 The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him. 10 In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

FATHERED BY LOVE – I love how the Holy Spirit trumpet it through John… everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God. The key to loving others without boundaries and limitation is allowing God to love you freely like a child who is fathered through pure love. Any kid raised in an environment of love, almost all the time grows up loving themselves and that of others. Are you receiving the unmerited love or you are daily working your way to earn His love? Those who are always trying to earn love do not know God through intimacy, to be able to love others. Such folks always expect others to earn their love through their good performances. If you had a bad performance they hold on to their love. Friend, does love look like you or do you look like love?

Photo Credit:www.tlxtransport.comThis is how God’s love manifests through us to those around us; “When we acknowledge His love through the indwelling presence of the Spirit of Christ, who always energized us through faith, to do the impossible and the uncommon”. That is the only way we can emanates or defuse Him like fragrance in every place. Allow yourself to be fathered by love. It has been said that; “Hurt people hurt”. I also believe that those who have embraced His relentless love as dearly beloved sons and daughters, will live victoriously, vertically and horizontally, without striving. Any love outside of God’s love is conditional, and it’s bound to fade out. God’s love never ends! If you have reasons to love me, then your love for me is conditional. You will say something like this; “I love McDaniels, BECAUSE….he is my friend” “he gave me $100 when I was broke, few weeks ago” “He is nice and all that”. “Because” is the clause of your love. Would you love me if am not nice? When you love me at all times no matter what, then you are walking in true love.

Ask the Lord to saturate your life with the agape presence; out of His great love, you will be able to love the undeserving  and be freed from all anti love attitudes and behaviors, which easily besets you in your relationships with people. Tell the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart today, of how dearly God loves you and how willingly He wants to express His love through you.

I am your great Shepherd

John 14:6: Via, Veritas, Vita – “The Way, The Truth, The Life”

GOD IS NOT DISAPPOINTED IN YOU

Legalistic thinking says; “I messed up big time in this pilgrim journey and I am disappointed with myself.  God is seriously disappointed and mad with me”. Grace gospel says; “Your God is not in a mood swing. He is not mad at you, neither is He disappointed with you. He is madly in love and affectionate towards you, to restore you beyond measure”.photo Credit: Google image

Isaiah 54:7-9 – For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

God exhausted all the wrath that you deserved on Jesus Christ, that you may experience the blessings of Abraham. Jesus paid the debt He did not owe because you owed righteousness demand from the supreme justice of God, you could not pay. Did Jesus do all that for you because of your talents or good looks? You deserve death but He gave you life, you deserve condemnation but out of the riches of His kindness, gave you the free gift of righteousness by grace through faith. This is too good to be true. He did it because He loves you.

Photo Credit: Google imageSadly to say; the Church of Jesus Christ have become so beat down in sin consciousness, guilt and condemnation. We focus more on Sin (weaknesses, imperfection, inadequacies, and all the negatives of life) than focusing our emotions on Christ Jesus, and of His righteous acceptance towards us. She has no confidence and assurance to come before God in boldness to receive grace and mercy. Many believers are struggling in this area I have just mentioned, because of a system of belief which says “God reward us on our goodness and punish us on our imperfections” This is not scriptural but a perverse gospel to put people into bondage again, in their Christian life.

God is not angry with you. He’s already dealt with the sin issue and exhausted His full wrath on Jesus on our behalf. God does not condone with sin in His covenant with us, so to keep us on sinning spree. Under grace, He does not impute our sins and weakness, imperfections against us. Paul affirms that in the book of Romans…

Romans 4:6-8 (KJV) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

There is nothing you can do to make God love you more or less. He loves you not because you are lovely; He loves you because He’s love. Are you being weighed down by your weaknesses and blaming yourself for what you could have done right? There is freedom for you my friend!! Today, focus on the blood of Jesus Christ which atoned for your sins ones and for all, with the eternal benefit of a clean conscience, through forgiveness and allow the Holy Spirit to remind you of your completeness in Him. The mercies of God are revealed throughPhoto Credit: Google image this Messianic prophecy by  Isaiah, the prophet. God dealt with the Old Covenant saints according to their performance. But now God says, I am establishing a covenant with you through my Son, to meet all the demands of justice. After Jesus has taken our sins and wrath upon Himself; do we still beat ourselves down? If the accuser of the brethren point you to your weaknesses and mistakes point him to your position in Christ. Satan specializes in distracting you from who you are in Christ so that you will be conscious with your self weakness and past mistakes. he does that to poison your mind and heart from embracing the free gift of the quality life which flows from the Spirit of grace. What do you see?

UNBREAKABLE – The covenant that our heavenly Father have with us cannot be broken by anything. God is not pointing His mighty hands on you in disbelief for not fulfilling your part in this covenant. God is not rebuking you! Yes, He is not; under the new covenant of grace. He is always mending and restoring covenant with us through the finished work. The last time you messed up, God did not change his mind towards you and neither is He treating you special because of your performance level.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. (Isaiah 54:9)

Under the New Covenant of Grace, God is not condemning you, neither is He disappointed with you. He is not disappointed with you because you are not doing too much or you made a ridiculous decision in the past. Receiving His love and goodness when we are weak in our faith is what cures our inadequacies, so that we can be empowered to do good works. It is time to reckon our righteous position and allow grace to influence our thinking and the emotions of our heart. Sin persuasions do not change God…it rather blurred our eyes from seeing the overflowing stream of His grace and loving kindness in our direction.

THE SECRET TO WALKING IN PEACEBeloved, you have to position yourself in the arena of peace between yourself and that of God. Not knowing that the battle between you and God has been resolved through the shed blood of Jesus will always keep you in a position, trying to earn peace with God through your performance. God was mad with humanity Photo Credit: www.kristendukephotography.comthrough the original sin of Adam, but has now received us through His tender mercies, not on the basis of our performance or works, but through Jesus. You now have peace with God. The curtain of separation has now been torn into two, with complete access to the Father of love and mercies. He has not hidden His face from you, because of your sins and neither has He withheld His goodness because of your low par performance in your Christian life. Here is the good news as recorded by Apostle Paul through the Spirit, in the book of Romans.

Romans 5:1-2 “1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The message of the angels to the poor shepherds is the greatest news of pure joy God sends to humanity, when God came down in the person of His Son, to reconcile men to himself. This  message of peace on earth and goodwill towards men is not just a cliché on Christmas season. It paints a glorious picture of the place of mankind through the lenses of the perfect sacrifice of Christ. The war is over; a new day of salvation, acceptance, love and favor is here for those who will believe in Christ. Stop fighting your way through the jungles of life and let His peace wash your heart.  Luke gospels trumpet it clearly;

Luke 2:13-14  (NKJV) 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

When it feels like God is mad with you and disappointed in you because you haven’t done enough to make Him fulfill His part of the bargain; you completely falls from grace. God’s healing grace or physical provision cannot be earned by how holy you are or perfect your days has gone by. The gift of righteousness has brought us into the grace terrain to get access to God’s goodness through the persuasion of His great love. God’s goodness towards you is not to condone with our mistakes. Should one not deal with his mistakes before you ask for favor from God? It is only God’s goodness which can break the power of weakness and failure. On our own; we are dead!! Scripture says that;

You surely don’t think much of God’s wonderful goodness or of his patience and willingness to put up with you. Don’t you know that the reason God is good to you is because he wants you to turn to him? He is not afraid to be Good. (Romans 2:4 CEV)

Why should I be afraid to receive His abundant grace, to meet all of my needs? So ask, knock and seek…surely you will find Him when you least expect. He is not angry but closer to you than a brother. I have had people complain to me with anger in their face. They say things like; “I have prayed, paid my tithe, anoint myself with oil and done all there is to be done and yet God has not restored my life”. My friend you don’t deserve any good thing from the Lord on the basis of what you do. He loves you and therefore cried out; calling you to come to His throne when you have even messed up. Lighten up and come to the end of yourself and run to Jesus, even now. Prayer, tithe, and offering are scripturally encouraged, but they are not a means to which God will cause His healing on you. (This is another subject in itself)  What about giving money to God to motivate Him? As a covenant child of God you are guaranteed to walk in the blessings of God according to your position as the righteousness of God. Your giving to God is motivated by His love for you and your confident trust in Him, as your source of sufficiency.

ON YOUR MARK, GO! – The book of Hebrews reveals the heart of our high Priest. Christ Jesus, our chief priest sits on the right hand side of God through His complete work on Photo Credit: Google imagethe tree in royalty and power. He can be touched with our infirmities and weakness. He is not throwing tantrums every passing minute of the day. He has thrown a wild open invitation for all who believe in His name to come; For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:15-16)

At what time do we come to the throne room of grace? When we feel we are too okay in our own right or when we have needs? I believe scripture challenges us to come with an attitude of boldness and not of shame and self defeatism heart and beat down conscience, trying to negotiate with God with our tears and religious emotions. It is a matter of a complete and sincere knowledge of true righteousness and our supernatural connection with God which goes beyond any human limitation. Nothing; absolutely noting should keep you from the love embrace of the Father.

A THOUGHT TO CHEW ON – As a covenant child of God you are guaranteed to walk in the blessings of God, according to your position in the righteousness of Christ.
